1) What is energy?

2) How are energy, work and power related?

3) If a handsaw does the same amount of work on a log as chainsaw does, which has a greater power? Why?

1) Energy is the ability to do work.
2) Work is the transfer of energy and doing more work requires more power.
3) A chainsaw would have more power because it does the same amount of work in a shorter time period.

1: Energy is the ability to do work
2: Work, energy, and power are related because work uses energy and needs a certain amount of power
3: A chainsaw is more powerful because it utilizes denser fuels which provides more power.
